Savasana (Final Relaxation Pose)

Savasana (Final Relaxation Pose) is the most important pose (in my opinion), but is often overlooked by newer practitioners who have yet to learn its value. The final resting pose gives your body a chance to digest and integrate the shift in energy that happens during your yoga practice (asana, meditation and pranayama). In order to fully absorb the benefits its important to give your body the chance to understand the changes before rushing back to old habits. Give it a chance. The longer the better!
